2 cute @ two

I began this one at Scrapworkz the other night and managed to complete it last night...Yet another pirate page you say!! Yep, this time it is Mace's turn....he was such a cuuute little pirate!! And you should have seen his lovely white ruffle shirt after he gobbled into the chocolate birthday cake....LOL..not so white!! This time i have used some fun Bella 'Paper Boy' papers that i picked up from Spotlight recently, plus some thicker alphas, and a groovy Sassafras number chip.

Well, i hope you are loving all this winter sunshine this weekend...glorious isn't it??

first footy game...

Put this one together at a scrap day at the local scrap Cottage, i am such a slow scrapper....but i got there in the end!! LOL!! My aim was to fulfill Amanda's challenge over at escape2create to use an outline font. I have used those yummy Studio Calico alpha stamps, which i find stamp so crisp & clean. Other products used here are an old range of Crate Paper papers, Sassafras alpha stickers, old metal book clips by Basic Grey...that have been sitting in my collection since day dot!! and the little star punched strip i used a Die-namics die by My Favourite Things.

Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend!

2 little boys + balloons = FUN

2 little boys + 6 balloons = alot of FUN!! I thought i would combine this into a try photo shoot....and today with the winter sun shining perfectly i was able to practise some photo taking on my camera. I must admit i took ALOT of photos and only got a few very candid fun loving photos....the boys had a great time!!

Here's a few to share with you,

The colours of the balloons and the day was perfect....that i was happy with at least, and the boys had loads of fun running around on their grassy patch with a handful of balloons!!

Hope you have had a nice day,

a day in july..

We spent the day down with these dear little tikes yesterday. Rob was out helping SIL build a fence while i was inside playing trains with the boys....hee hee!! and trying to get some photos.....it has been awhile since i have had my camera out, and almost forgotten how to use it...

...and obviously need more practise, but it is a fun process all the same...
Brotherly love....don't ya just love it....within a moment on from this, they were scrapping over a train!!! Arn't they sooo cute!

A self portrait moment....Mr E loves to get in front of the camera with me...

And a scrap page to share as well, one that i completed for my own sketch challenge over at escape2create using circles..... and once again a page scrapped of these little kidlets at their recent combine 'Pirate party'....so much fun it was!

Well, i hope you have all got a warm spot on this cold wintery day.... put another log on the fire, grab a nice warm cuppa soup and head off to the scrap room...i reckon!

Have a nice day,

pirates galore

These two little boys shared their birthdays this year with a combined 'pirate party' and there was lots of cute little pirates everywhere(oh and one cute little fairy in amongst it, she didn't want to be a pirate, but hey who cares)LOL........all in costume, and with loads of noise to go with it.

There was a hidden treasure chest in the garden, a cannonball pinata with lollies shooting out everywhere, and pin the parrot on the pirate game to keep them all busy and a scrumptious cake to end it all. They had so much fun!!

There was even the stray big pirate to join in on the fun....i don't know, some kids just never grow up, ey??!!

Oh the good fun times....such times to treasure & remember,

Hope you having a nice week,

Suexx

play together everyday...

A layout with these two cute little boys again! This one was put together using MME 'Lime twist' papers....oh they are so yummy for boys pages, Pink Paislee 'Hometown Summer' punchout, Technique Tuesday stamps, Studio Calico sticker alphas and Mister Huey paint splattered, Smash tape, Jenni Bowlin mini flag banner, a Prima pebble....and some extra bits n bobs..

Hope you have had a great weekend....and looking forward to another great week.

chocolate rabbits

I think Meredith has used the large scallop punch to make a row of circles....so i thought i would have a go at trying it out.. certainly adds extra dimension to a page.

I have used studio calico papers here, october afternoon alpha & sticker, doodlebug Loopy Lou alphas, and some good old kraft paper...

Thanks for popping by,

One night in Vienna

I scrapped this page a couple weeks ago for a escape2create challenge but haven't got around to posting it here.

This time last year we were travelling across Europe....and we spent a couple days and nights in Vienna....oh, such a beautiful city. It was one day i met up with my pen pal Sabine G, whom i have been corresponding with for almost 20 years. We met late one afternoon, had coffee and spent a couple hours chatting & sharing photos, exchanging gifts and lots of giggling........it is so good (actually, it is bloody amazing!) to finally meet with someone you have 'sort of ' known for many years and then in person to discover that 'yes', they are really lovely just like you thought all those years when you receive letters, emails etc. I told the girl at the desk that i was meeting my penpal there, and would be waiting in the coffee lounge if Sabine was to come in and ask for me...... to direct her to me.......this girl was very excited that we were meeting for the first time....she couldn't quite believe it....i think she was almost as excited as i was.

Some people may think it is quite bazaar writing to someone you don't know....and in today's modern techno world the art of writing letters is almost unheard of......but it still brings a spark to my day to find a letter in my mail box that doesn't have a window front!!

After our coffee and big chat we met up with our travel buddies....and went out for a great meal, great wines, and lots of laughs.....the night was just toooo short. I could have easily spent days with Sabine........next time! It was another great moment of my holiday to remember for many years!

Hope you all having a nice week,

Sue xx
