thumbs Up!

Rachel decided to try and get some photos of me with the grandsons....but late in the arvo they were getting 'ratty' and to get that 'perfect' photo was proving impossible, especially when EJ gave the thumbs up! But i still love the 'feel' of photo....

i am inspired by Fran Tynan's style with this page. i have used more of the OA 'Road Map' range...which goes perfect with these boys and the colours. Also have used some yummy Pink Paislee dotty tape.

Thanks for looking..

summer days

What is it about photos from summer.....is it that they are filled with good memories of relaxing times, warm days, the beach, family and friend time??.... photos that are just so good to have, i just love summer!

Well, these photos from our annual holiday down at Coffins Bay have been sitting on my desk for months, just waiting to be scrapped. I wanted to do something simple with muliple photos....i have seen this idea of small photos co-ordinated with pp on various occasions (just can't remember where)....and it worked, with minimal fuss..

It feels good to be scrapping again....

waiting to just go!

When i saw this LO of Sande Krieger's over at 2peas, it matched my excitement of our impending travel to Europe (our first trip!)....and thought what a perfect way to scrap the preparation for it. I got out all my old 'mail art' stamps and away i went....and i even had the OA road trip range amongst my stash....which is no surprise!

It also matched the challenge for the week of scraplifting over at e2c blog.

It is just so exciting....and we can hardly wait!!

cousins

i love this photo of our kids with my sisters 3 kids....they spent so much time together as littlies and growing up, and now that they have left school, all working, it is so good to see that they still enjoy each others company when they all get together.

i have been wanting to use some masking tape on a page for ages now....so i have accomplished that at last, and i have used some new products, BG felt flower, BG paper doilie ribbon, and also the Tim Holtz sizzix tattered floral cutter...., so all in all i have accomplished a fair bit with just this page!!

a scrap-lifted page that i have done for the WOS (week of scraplifting) at the escape2 create blog. My page has been inspired and a lift of Leanne Stamatellos, whom i love her simple and effective style...i love her embellie cluster in the corner with this one.

I have used some new OA papers that have been sitting waiting to be used.

read in granny's chair

when i saw the new basic grey basics range, i knew i had to have some!! I have been looking for something new for background papers and these papers are perfect for me. I have also used the new BG max and whiskers papers, nice warm bright colours but good for boys pages.

So i have finally used some of my new product sitting on my desk!! :)

this cheeky smile

Up until now, getting a photo of Eli smiling has never been an easy task, and when i captured this one, i just loved the cheekiness of it....so full of tricks!!

Thanks for looking.xx
