cast a line out..

It's not the best picture to scrap but it was about the day and  the moment- watching these two lads having fun with their fishing rods, seeing who could cast out the furtherest, and talking the talk like little old fishermen!!!

Here i have used Crate Paper as the background, some Basic Grey 'Clippings' papers, Elle's studio journalling card, AC pleated flowers, washi tape and buttons....oh plus a Studio Calico wood veneer boat too!!

Oh, just waiting for the sun to shine again for some fishing days!!

Hope you're having a good week,

Sue xx

love it all Sue.
may I give you a hint for the photo :)

pop up your flash to 'fill in the shadows' when you're shooting people outside. It would then throw a bit of light on the boys and then they would be black silhouettes. You need to be reasonably close for the pop up flashes to be strong enough to do this tho.

Love your page Sue...and this is why we scrap, its about the memory of the day. Love all your little details, buttons, flowers, washi tape and little banner. Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. I am so looking forward to spring and the sun shining too. Have a great weekend. :) x

WOW Sue. What a great page. I love those 'imperfect' photos… and i think you have scrapped it brilliantly! I love the random feel of the embellishments which really look amazing together. I agree it's all about capturing the moment. This is a great silhouette shot, with delicious sunlight twinkling on the sea so much so that you can almost feel the sand between your toes! Keep doing it your way Sue, the way you photograph and scrap everyday moments is inspiring.
