Mr Wool Classer

The last of the shearing photos - this one, our eldest grandson Ethan, meticulously helping Poppa picking the wool fleeces. I found amongst my stash some 'Elders' stencils which i used on the yellow paper - just like we use on the actual wool bales. Otherwise, i have used old papers from my stash.
In the scrapping mood......
Have a good day,

new bike

I just had to scrap these cute pictures of Eli sharing his new bike (well, not totally happy to), and Mace thought he was such a 'big' boy on his cousins new bike. Mace now has his own bike, plus Granny has 3 at the farm now....so there's no lack of bikes here!! It is great to see the kids getting outdoors and riding.
I tried mounting my alpha title like a friend does...find her here , it was pleased with my result on this page and will definately be using this technique again!! And i have used the paint splats yet again...the old paints are getting a work out lately!!
Well, hope you all having a nice day and enjoying the summer holidays,
Leave a comment if you pop on by - i love to see who's been here,

First scrap for 2011

OMG- it took hours to put this together!! It was like having my first born - took days and days, and still nothing happened....i was exhausted when it was finished - the page that is!!! How can it get to be this difficult? Just no mojo!
It is time to get those creative neurones bumping around again....and there is so much inspiring scrapping happening out there on the blogland, that it is so hard to move away from the computer!! But i am glad i have finally moved away(off my computer chair) and completed a page, a old photo but i love those canola shots from September 2010!
Well, here's to more luck scrapping....and hope your having a great day!

2010 done & dusted

Well, what a whirlwind of a couple weeks it was!! ....and another year done and dusted.

With all the preparations of Christmas, getting together with both family groups to celebrate Christmas - and Parsons day was here at the farm, Mum & Dad arriving & staying here with us over the Xmas time and leaving just before New Year. We celebrated Mum & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary on 29th Dec, harvest was still in progress, and amongst all that i did my back in and had to spend a few days flat out on the floor and then there was New Year.....phew....i feel all partied out, and ready for some quiet time!!

Here's a photo of us - almost the entire Parsons' clan....only 2 were missing on this day.....and i was determined to squeeze everyone in my little kitchen for that family 'Christmas photo'. I realized recently how important these photos are to take and keep. What a great day we had!!

2010 was a great year!! Amongst everything the highlight was our 5 weeks overseas, a dream come true. Time to start on another DREAM.

What will 2011 bring? I don't know.....no big plans at this stage.

But i do hope to ENJOY time at the beach, SPEND time home - with family, ENJOY time with friends at the Day on the Green. SPEND more time in the garden, BE more creative- i hope to make a quilt this year..... and LIVE, LOVE, and LAUGH each day of 2011!

Hopefully there will be some scrapping coming along soon,

Hope you are having a Great day.

a few more cards...

Just when Meredith thought i wasn't going to use these cutters....taaadaaa!!!

I happen to be looking after the grandies the other day...... & we got creative in my craft room....oh, the grandies love to get out in my room!!! So we put to good use Meredith's Christmas tree cuttlebug die and made some quick & easy Chrissie cards.....and the end result = cuteness!! (i am allowed to brag ey??) Evan very proudly took some home to share with his mum, and i thought i would send some off too.

Hope you all have a nice Sunday,

Sue xx

Xmas cards...

I was inspired by a recent Scrapbook Creations magazine to make this this years Christmas cards. Particularly Kirsty Piper's use of a Apron Lace punch to make a lacey effect with paper.

Here are my cards:

And now here is my pile of mail to do, Christmas card list, address book and note pad out ready to go!! I love to get mail but i always leave my run to send mail so late this time of the year!! My OS mail is all gone except a couple quick ones to do this morning, but the grand plan is to do the rest this weekend!! :)
Hope you are all going well with your Christmas plans,
Havew a nice day,
Sue xx

Rob's pics

Very early this monday morning, while i was on night shift, you could see in the sky that something big was brewing, the clouds and the colours .....and then an amazing thunderstorm blew in over Cummins. Rob was up early watching it and took some photos (which, i smile at, he's catching the bug too...heehee!!....) and i love the colours and the rainbow that he has captured....i just have to share with you!!
All straight from the camera too:

All taken looking north towards Cummins- normally seen Mickan's/ Dahlitz's Hill, but covered here in rain cloud and rainbow.....maybe the pot of gold can be found there!! :)

Thanks for looking,

Hope you are having a nice week!
